The Tripp-Lite 150 Watt Inverter is recommended and supplied by ResMed for operation of all their models of CPAP including the new S9 series. It is small and compact as well as durable. It does not provide enough watts to operate a heated humidifier, therefore the heat switch must be turned to off for the humidifier. Though the humidifier can be operated as a cold humidifier to provide some moisture into the patient tube.
