The AirSense 10 Elite CPAP Machine by ResMed is designed to be a single pressure machine that includes a HumidAir Heated Humidifier having advanced therapy features. During operation, unlike other CPAP machines, this machine works at a set pressure level and does not adjust to changing pressure.
EXPIRATORY PRESSURE RELIEF (EPR)
ResMed understands the necessity to deliver natural breathing and thus offers much softened air flow. The AirSense 10 Elite CPAP Machine monitors and analyzes the breathing patterns of the patient and accordingly smoothens the pressure delivery during the course of therapy. There are three different adjustment modes for user convenience.
HUMIDAIR HUMIDIFIER (BUILT IN)
To add to its user-friendliness, the machine is kept compact by integrating the humidifier within the machine. Humidification allows for better therapy comfort as it moisturizes the air coming into the nostrils, thus reducing dryness and irritation. There are 1-8 settings to select from for customized humidification. Also, there is an optional ClimateLineAir heated tube that uses humidity control mechanism to set a level that causes very little rainout.
As users use this device usually during the night, it is important that the light is not loud enough to disturb the patient as well as his bed partner. The light sensor available in the AirSense 10 Elite CPAP machine adjusts light automatically. It intelligently dims the light when room lights are turned off.
The SD card inserted in the device lets it store therapy data that can be easily restored or extracted. It records events such as leak rate, usage data, events per hour, AHI, and average usage.
BRIGHT LED DISPLAY
The colored LED display lets users read the menus and other information clearly and easily. Its easy grip dial allows selecting the menus by simply turning it.
