Wisp pediatric designed the Wisp Nasal Mask with Headgear for the unique needs of children. The fabric pattern used in the manufacturing of this pediatric mask is child-friendly with a modified cushion shape and a playful appearance. Specially designed for children, this Wisp Nasal Mask comes with a Leak Correction Dial that allows parents or guardians to adjust the mask without removing the mask or interrupting the little ones’ sleep. So, with this innovative technology there is no leakage from the mask during the therapy. The Leak Correction Dial works wonders for active sleepers (as babies are).
The Wisp by Respironics has 3 cushion sizes (small, medium, large) that easily accommodate different face shapes of the babies weighing over 22 pounds. It has a giraffe print headgear, tubing wrap, and mask frame so that the mask shows a toy-like look, finding a place easily in the child’s room. Just like the previous versions of the Wisp masks, this pediatric nasal mask features quick release tabs on the cushion fitting and the headgear has optional clips for easy mask removal and simplified adjustments. The soft fabric frame rests comfortably across the cheekbones and allowing the child to see clearly even when the mask is on. It also features a 360°rotating elbow and unique auto seal groove on the nasal cushion to enhance the mask performance.
